At REACH, we don’t usually measure success in partridges or pear trees. We tell the story of our work through the connections we build, the projects we see through to the finish line, and the nearly countless trips back and forth to our storage units.
While 2026 is already shaping up to be a banner year, before we close the book on 2025, we wanted to pause and reflect in the only way we know how: data (and a little fun).
64,303 – Slack message we sent this year
That’s a lot of talking! And a lot of problem-solving. Each message represents a question answered, a decision made, a timeline nudged forward, or a teammate stepping up with a simple, “I’ve got it!” Collaboration is core to how we work, and these little messages are what keep the work moving.
4,000+ – Conversations we had with people in the communities we served
From local leaders to residents curious about electrification and energy innovation, these conversations are always where meaningful progress begins. Being part of a community is essential to turning big ideas into tangible outcomes. Getting to do that face-to-face? That’s the cherry on top.
7 – States in which we supported incredible community work
California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington. Where should we go next?
18 – Team dinners
With team members spread far and wide, these moments matter. They give us a chance to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate collaboration while agreeing (and sometimes disagreeing) on what apps to order.
80 – Community transportation electrification plans completed in Illinois
One of the year’s most significant milestones. We helped communities outside the Chicago metro strengthen local planning and workforce readiness, prepare to attract investment, and implement projects ranging from installing charging stations to adding EVs to municipal and first-responder fleets.
48 – Events produced this year
From virtual dealer roundtables to ride-and-drive events that raised money for local nonprofits to educational outreach at community events, we completed at least one activation every week this year! Each of these events was designed to make complex topics more accessible and create space for real conversation.
100+ – Storage locker visits (we think)
If you’ve ever wondered how progress gets powered, sometimes it’s coffee, sometimes it’s strategy, and sometimes it’s lifting very heavy boxes to get to that small item in the back you thought was lost.
3 – Celebrities who attended our events
And we don’t use that term lightly. Hanging out with the No Drama Llama, the Boston Red Sox’s Wally the Green Monster, and the St. Louis Cardinals’ Fredbird may have been the highlights of the year.
2025 was a year built on connection. Thousands of conversations, dozens of events, and partnerships that turned ideas into action all reinforced why this work matters. Here’s to more electric mower ride-alongs, convincing people to sign up for newsletters, early mornings (with plenty of caffeine), and showing up for communities ready to move forward.
See you in 2026!
