REACH Strategies is offering a great opportunity to help facilitate the transition to clean transportation. The Program Strategist will be dedicated to supporting, building, and expanding existing and future electric vehicle education and outreach campaigns throughout the country.

Summary of Position

As the Program Strategist you will contribute to and manage strategic communications and outreach initiatives using social media, digital platforms, educational materials, and events. This is a wide-ranging role is well suited for a self-starter who likes to do a variety of content-rich, engaging work.
The candidate should possess a creative drive and be able to articulate and document ideas to the internal REACH and partner teams, as well as participants and stakeholders. The candidate should have experience managing communications campaigns, events, and ongoing initiatives and have sound understanding of campaign & engagement principles and associated measurement metrics.

Responsibilities

This is an important role in a growing organization and the ideal candidate will be responsible for defining how it is developed further:
  • Develop, contribute to and execute on the ongoing campaign to grow electric vehicle adoption.
  • Manage multiple digital media platforms to support the program.
  • Plan and deliver targeted communications campaigns using an appropriate suite of marketing tools.
  • Liaise with and manage design, print teams, and suppliers.
  • Conduct baseline and benchmark research.
  • Evaluate campaigns to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of service.
  • Plan and execute a variety of outreach events.
  • Manage and develop program relationships.

Essential Qualifications

  • Interest in promoting clean vehicles and sustainable economic development in the state of California and nationally.
  • Understanding of digital/social marketing and engagement marketing principles.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and how to engage constituents through them.
  • Ability to anticipate needs/issues and to execute sound decision making.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply them to communications campaigns.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to handle fast paced environment and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker, creative, and innovative.
  • Team player, willing to help others grow.
  • Understanding of best practices for working remotely with a distributed team and demonstrable experience in working remotely.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (post-COVID considerations)
