I’m Graham, and I’m thrilled to be the Chief Technology Officer here at REACH Strategies. When I was a kid, I wanted to be an inventor, and I can happily say that I’ve made that into my reality. Even outside of work, I love to build – from crafting robotic hands with haptic feedback controllers to sending a robot to near space on a high-altitude balloon, my journey has been characterized by a deep passion for learning by creating.

In high school I taught myself how to code and self-published my own iOS app. Shockingly, it gained over a hundred thousand downloads and I immediately fell in love with the incredible ability of software to scale.

In college, I studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley and graduated with High Honors. At Berkeley, I also explored the fascinating realm of robotic deep reinforcement learning as an undergraduate researcher. With my friends, I attended the world’s largest collegiate hackathon, CalHacks, where our team won prizes two years in a row. These experiences honed my skills and deeply instilled a collaborative approach to problem solving.

I’ve spent my career since then doing what I love – building things. I’ve worked in a variety of technical roles, from being a backend engineer at Slack where I revamped the Do Not Disturb functionality to serving as a Mission Control software engineer at Google X Loon — working to bring the internet into remote regions with the power of balloons. I have also worked as a full stack engineer at companies ranging from educational robotics to enterprise SaaS.

As we step into the next chapter at REACH Strategies, my goal is simple – to lead a team that’s passionate about innovation. Together, we’ll create solutions that make a difference in the real world. I’m excited about what the future holds, and I invite you to join us on this journey of exploration and discovery.
