REACH’s electrification event calendar for 2024 is packed

Aug 12, 2024

More than 50 people gather in front of a building at a 2024 REACH event in Missouri

This fall, we’re organizing dozens of EV test drives, career fairs, and symposia

By the beginning of 2020, REACH’s calendar of upcoming events was full. Our team was preparing to travel to every time zone in America in order to talk EVs with people in some of the most far-flung areas of the country. And then things … changed.

By the looks of 2024’s calendar, we’re back at it.

In the first seven months of 2024, REACH organized outreach events for our clients in Missouri, California, Illinois, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Oregon. Our virtual events have found an even wider audience.

This coming fall, we’re busier than ever! In August and September alone, we’re planning more than 20 events in six states, in small towns and big cities alike.

Creative, meaningful new ways to engage the public

But the number of events doesn’t tell the entire story. Before the pandemic, REACH specialized in EV test drives. Then, when the world changed, so did we. We’ve found new ways to talk to folks about electrification. Here’s a taste of the upcoming events we’re organizing:

      • At the Electrification Career Fair (Marin County, Calif., Sept. 14), we’re introducing job seekers to dozens of local employers working in clean energy and electrification.

      • The Recharge Minnesota Symposium (Minneapolis, September 18) will bring together folks from all over the state to discuss how to make the EV transition work in their own communities.

      • During National Drive Electric Week (Sept. 27-Oct. 6), we’re hosting a virtual roundtable for auto dealer partners across Illinois.

      • Of course, we’re also organizing tons of EV test drives! On Sept. 28-29, we’re leading a ride and drive event at Portland Community College in Oregon.
